User Narratives and Storyboarding
Firstly, we carry out research to specify the target audience. To reach the understanding we ask both the product owner and ourselves such questions as: “who needs the solution?”, “what problem does it solve?”, “what the end-user finds common and convenient?”, “how can we the overcome any mistrust?” etc.
This lets us understand the end-users' demand and needs. The next step is to make the product correspond.
It’s the point when the designer comes up with various ideas. It’s not about detailed interface structure but about the outline of the software concept.
At the end, together with a product owner we make a discussion and after the argumentation choose the best options.
At this stage, the goal is to visualize what a potential end-product will look like. To reach this goal, the UI/UX designer:
This stage is all about branding and bringing individuality to the product’s interface. When mockups are made & project documentation is approved, the software development team gives a full estimate for the development timing and starts the development process.
Puts earlier approved requirements together
Describes how the elements interact between each other
Depicts the structure of the end-product
Defines the interface elements and their appearance
As a result we get clickable dynamic prototypes to experience the convenience and efficiency of interactions ourselves.
